It is a comprehensive method that teaches all of the key information you need to create your perfect practice routine.

It's time to start making practice work for you.
Practiceology comprises six sections covering a wide range of information to help you create a highly productive practice routine.
You'll start by covering the key elements that are required for successful practice. Then you will learn how to get started and develop the habit of intentional practice to maximise your time. The next chapter covers some key exercises to help you develop your general technique, these include intonation, bow control, velocity, shifting and rhythm.
Lauren demonstrates her methods with classical examples from her own routine, but most importantly she shows you how to apply her concepts to your music.
Lauren Pierce is our classical double bass expert. Well known for her virtuosic solo double bass performances on YouTube, she is also a world leading educator. She’s here to inspire and educate to help you play your best music.
This course includes membership of the ‘Discover Double Bass Study Group’ so you can ask questions and get the help you need. The Study Group is a ‘closed’ Facebook group in which only bassists who have bought a course can ask questions or view the discussion. If you need help along the way, Lauren Pierce, Geoff Chalmers and the rest of our community of bassists from across the globe will be there to answer your questions and get you back on track!
"After 30 years of bass playing Practiceology has supercharged my practice routine. I’m making more progress in less time and I don’t feel like I’m ever ‘spinning my wheels’ in my practice studio. Highly recommended!"
