What is Double Bass Arpeggios: The Play-Along Collection?

‘Double Bass Arpeggios: The Play-Along Collection’ is a digital sheet music and backing track collection written by Geoff Chalmers, the founder of Discover Double Bass. It comprises 6 different arpeggios types in all 12 keys, over one and two octaves. There are detailed fingerings for every arpeggio (a.k.a chord tones) which are practical, simple to learn, and easy to memorise. There is also written guidance on which order to learn them and a summary of key facts for each arpeggio.

Backing tracks are provided with slow and fast versions of each arpeggio played on a piano, drone notes for each key, and a cycle of 5ths practice track for each arpeggio. These backing tracks can help students to quickly identify any problems with their intonation.

Plus in the bonus section, we have included a short series of video lessons for beginners as well as three-octave major and minor arpeggios.
