‘Double Bass Arpeggios: The Play-Along Collection’ is a digital sheet music and backing track package written by Geoff Chalmers, the founder of Discover Double Bass. It comprises 6 different arpeggios types in all 12 keys, over one and two octaves. There are detailed fingerings for every arpeggio (a.k.a chord tones) which are practical, simple to learn and easy to memorise. There is also written guidance on which order to learn them and a summary of key facts for each arpeggio.
In addition to the 144 written arpeggios there are 288 backing tracks with slow and fast versions of each arpeggio played on a piano. These backing tracks can help students to quickly identify any problems with their intonation.
After enrolment, all the course materials are available to use online so you will have everything you need in one place. The PDFs and MP3 files are also available for instant digital download incase you prefer to print the music, or use the files on different devices. The video lessons are only available to stream online.
